Weekly Motivation

Psalm 103:20 "You who are his angels, praise the Lord. You are the mighty warriors who do what he says and who obey his voice" Is Christmas really in 2 weeks? It must be, the weather is wet and cold, the stores are full, and the Christmas programs at church are in full swing. The Warrior Nation got together this weekend and celebrated some Christmas cheer. I wanted to share a poem that hopefully will keep you anxiety free and focused on the reason for this amazing season: Christmas is a special time To reflect on Jesus Christ The wonder of His lowly birth Brings meaning to our lives There really is no other reason We celebrate this day The birth of God�s precious son And the life He willingly gave But so much seems to distract us In the busy-ness of our lives We lose our focus in all the happenings Not knowing, we leave out Christ We lose sight of the true meaning As we endlessly rush about Trying to find that perfect gift Seems to cloud our Saviour out We need to stop and reflect awhile Remembering our precious Lord His birth, His life and sacrifice And all that He stands for For though the world may celebrate It seems though for other reasons Let�s keep in mind that Jesus Christ Is the true meaning of the season Our verse of the week: Psalm 29:11 "The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace." May those in search of strength during this emotional season be given peace. I will be taking off Coach's Corner until after the New Year. May God continue to keep you in His Mighty Grip. Welcome to Warrior Baseball

We are a private, non profit, travel baseball club. We are based in San Bernadino County, in Upland, California.

Warrior Athletes range in age from 9 to 15 years old. The Warrior Family provide skilled instruction and high level, quality competition for energetic, dedicated baseball athletes. We believe in faith and family first. Each Warrior must believe in practice, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. We build self confidence and character in our athletes by teaching players skills, discipline and physical conditioning. Warrior players appreciate and respect the values of hard work, team work, and sportsmanship.

Warrior Mission Statement

We are……Warriors! One may expect to hear this on a battlefield instead of a baseball field, unless you are part of the Warriors Baseball Club. What started as a mother's concern to have her son become more connected to a youth group has evolved into a faith based baseball club for boys’ ages 9 to 15. Although baseball is the vehicle to share God’s word, developing character, honor and respect through biblical teachings is the goal.

The Warrior Baseball Club has essentially been cost free for those who have participated in previous years. This has been made possible by generous contributions from friends and families of the Warriors. We have been able to provide uniforms, practice jerseys, equipment, bibles, study material, tournament fees, practice facilities and professional instruction to over 40 young men in the 2008 season.

Our goal is to expand this program each year to inspire young men to learn God’s word, to learn the game of baseball, and to become future leaders of households and communities. Although we consider this an honor, the operating costs have continued to increase as the program has grown. It is our hope that we can continue to include more individuals in not only participating in our program, but also in the financial support of this unique ministry.

I would like to personally thank you for your consideration in support of the Warriors Baseball Club. The above mentioned “boy” and “concerned mother”, my son and my wife, also thank you.
